ActiveXperts Network Monitor 2017

ActiveXperts Software just released version 2017 of its ActiveXperts Network Monitor product.
It runs on any Windows desktop/server platform (including the latest Windows 2016 Server OS), and has new features for Windows and Linux.

Licensing

It's licensing has changed in v.2017: it is now available as a free version and a commercial version.

• The licensing options are now based on the number of checks processed simultaneously defined in the software. We distinct licenses for 150 Checks, 500 Checks, Unlimited Checks and Service Provider Unlimited Checks.
  The Free Limited-Checks License allows small companies to process up to 25 Checks.

• The current licenses will be transferred to the new license scheme via following schedule: 
   
• Small Business License -> 500 Checks License
  Site License -> Unlimited Checks License
  Enterprise License -> Unlimited Checks License
   
• Licensing is perpetual, which means that a license is paid only once and does not need to be renewed annually. Besides the license, a valid maintenance agreement is required to be entitled to free technical support and/or free software.


• A full functioning freeware version is offered for small companies. The freeware function allows 25 checks to be processed and has no further limitation.
