Mobile Security Recognition
At Wandera, we’ve talked about the importance of mobile security beyond EMM for a long time now, so we were very pleased to be featured in Gartner’s Market Guide to Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) solutions. Gartner predicts a threefold increase in the market in the next two years to 15% and recommends that any organisation in verticals such as finance, utilities, government, professional services, healthcare and insurance adds MTD to their organisations gradually. Of the 17 vendors analysed in the report, Wandera is one of only three to score 4/4, confirming that Wandera provides total protection against all primary threat vectors and capabilities. Read the full report here. We’ve also noticed a healthy uptick in MTD RFPs from large enterprises and it’s great to see the market coming to us and our partners increasingly.
And the praise keeps coming: Last month at the Computing Security Awards in London, UK, Wandera beat stiff competition from Checkpoint, Microsoft, Zimperium, Airwatch and more to win Mobile Security Solution of the Year. A big thanks to all those who voted for us; this is more proof that our unique multi-level architecture continues to be a differentiator.
Product Update
The product team has kept very busy over the last quarter and we have seen a steady stream of new features lined up for release to our customers. The recent roadmap placed a heavy emphasis on the development of brand new features that extend the overall functionality of our service including Usage Anonymisation, +WiFi, EMMC Secure Policy, SIEM Integration, Enhanced Data Plans, Machine Learning, Enhanced Security Event Logging and much more.
