    Clavister demonstrates its vision of next generation security management tools

    CeBIT, Hanover, Germany, March 6, 2012 - Booth D47, Hall 12 – Clavister, a recognized network security vendor providing world-class protection to organizations globally, will showcase its continuing development of the intelligent security management tools- Clavister Application Control and Clavister InControl 1.30.

    Clavister is proud to introduce its newest addition to its growing number of security services – Clavister Application Control.

    With support for over 1,000 applications and over 5,000 application attributes, the new Clavister Application Control can be configured to suite any organization and a vast number of applications, and offer unprecedented level of control.

    “The Clavister Application Control is as easy to apply as regular level 3 security policies” says John Vestberg, CTO Clavister. “We had the ambition to make the Application Control an integrated part of the Clavister Security Services, including our Anti-Virus, IDP and Web-Content Filtering services, to offer a rich palette of security options for our customers when configuring their network security solutions”.

    Accompanying the introduction of Clavister Application Control is the new release of Clavister InControl 1.30, centralized security management application, with new support for advanced analytics, enhanced Clavister InControl SDK support with support for SOAP and authentication, as well as general speed improvements for large installations.

    “Advanced reporting is something many customers have requested and we are pleased to announce that it will be included in the new release”, says John Vestberg.

    The new Clavister InControl 1.30 will support data cubes generated from log files and the ability to display Pivot-table styled analysis interface with content graphing with slice-and-dice and drill-down functionality. Pivot-tables are exportable to Microsoft® Excel, data can be exported to CSV file format and chart can be exported as images. A number of predefined statistics queries are included for top-talker reports, etc.

    The new Clavister Application Control service and Clavister InControl 1.30 will both be available end of March 2012.
