Protect Corporate Data on Handhelds:
New Device-Side Security Application Module Added to
OneBridge Mobile Platform
OneBridge®
Mobile Secure is the newest module of our award-winning
OneBridge Mobile Solutions Platform. It provides robust
"on device" encryption capabilities while enabling IT
to extend corporate security policies to virtually any
mobile device including PDAs, smartphones, laptops and
tablet PCs.
Security
concerns were recently noted by respondents to a Gartner
survey as one of the top issues inhibiting deployment
of mobile application solutions.* With OneBridge Mobile
Secure, IT can mandate that mobile devices be treated
as extensions of the corporate enterprise, empowering
organizations to implement security measures that maintain
control and reduce risk.
OneBridge
Mobile Secure provides a robust security framework that
protects sensitive corporate data residing on mobile
devices. The module enables IT to track all mobile devices
connecting to corporate servers and strictly control
network access based on device ID or owner. Sophisticated
policy controls allow IT to remotely "lock down" devices
and destroy data remotely if certain procedures are
not followed. In addition to controlling network access,
data is not only encrypted at the transport level, but
also at the device level, ensuring that if a device
is lost or stolen, information will not be compromised.
OneBridge Mobile Secure uses a variety of encryption
algorithms including AES, Triple DES, Blowfish 128 and
Lite.
