    Norman Virus Control gana el premio de testeo en PC-Active (revista holandesa, noticia en inglés)

    Norman announces that Norman Virus Control v5.7 received top ratings in the Dutch computer magazine, PC-Active.

    PC-Active founded 1989 is one of the oldest and most renowned computer magazines in Holland Norman Virus Control v5.7 was selected among several other antivirus software on the basis of performance and price. The speed of the antivirus scanning engine, the configuration possibilities and the ability to detect viruses were mentioned as top of the list.

    The Norman Virus Control v5.7 also uses the Norman SandBox. The technique and functionalities of Norman SandBox enable detection of viruses and worms before signature files have been released. The simulation of computer environments to detect unknown malicious software, protects the users at an earlier stage than ever before. The Norman SandBox technology represents a milestone in non-signature based detection of new, unknown viruses and worms.
