    Nueva versión de CPSecure AntiVirus ( Ingles )

    On Thursday, June 14th , CP Secure will release the new Software version 2.3.1.26.

     

    The new version will be put on the update servers, no further action is required.

    New Feature List

    • Greylist Version 2, redesigned Greylist that will offer better performance while allocating less system resources.
    • Detect the charset coding in the Email Subject line to prevent subject line from UTF-8 encoding conversion
    • System log with detailed messages when admin users log in/out (ex: Username on IP source logged on)
    • System Logs: detailed messages when configuration changes
      • Global Setting: Network Setting
      • Global Setting: Access Control: Access Control List
      • Global Setting: Trusted Sites
    • CSG will notify the administrator when CSG encounters a pattern update failure

    Major Fixes and Enhancement

    • Fixed the performance impact and degradation due to http core-dump and smtp core-dump of CSG during extensive network usage.
    • Fixed the strange characters in CSG Malware Alert emails
    • Fixed the spelling errors in the "Backup and Restore" Section
    • Fixed the file corruption to PDF files generated and emailed out by some Unix based systems
    • Prevent CSG from blocking users from accessing online streaming video content
    • Fixed CSG from recognizing different MAC address with various port configuration during the system upgrading request
    • Fixed CSG from barring users from downloading file attachments in the Webmail Interface
    • Allowing CSG user to enter their full email addresses for the SMTP Server configuration in the Notification Service
    • Fixed the admin port configuration error for users who upgraded from CSG v2.0 to CSG v2.2
    • Fixed the irregular behaviors of the Heuristic Scanning 
    • Resolve the Worm zhelatine.bj leaking issue
    • Improved CSG HTTP Streaming Mode on pages with Active X, performance with virus scanning, and Firefox incompatibility.

     

    Possible Known Issue

    • Outbound emails from internal domain to internal domain may be blocked by CSG
    • Administrator may receive an email notification on rebuilding corrupted tables (Table tblspam_quarantine, Table tblgreylistquarantinerecipients, Table tblgreylistquarantine, and Table tblgreylistpair) after upgrading.  This is due to the previous CSG version (CSG v2.2.0.x) did not contain these new tables.
