- The merger of SAAR (a company specialized in the production of electronic parts, 100% controlled by Eutron) into Eutron (a Group company specialized in the design and engineering of electronic devices and special technologies in the industrial sector).
- At the same time, the sell-off of Eutron Infosecurity (a company specialized in the information security) has been finalized to Selesta SpA, one of the major Italian companies operating in the Information Technology market.

Itema - Italian industrial group, led by Miro Radici, worldwide leader in the textile machinery manufacture - has successfully accomplished an important operation for the rearrangement of the Industrial Electronics Division, made up of Eutron, SAAR and Eutron Infosecurity companies. In particular, the operation is set out as follows.
"By this undertaking - Miro Radici, Itema Managing Director, points out - we are going to give a dual strong signal: to the market, in terms of competitiveness increase, and to the territory, in terms of enhancement of the best professional competences that our Country keeps on begetting". In particular, the merger with SAAR will enable Itema improving its own competitiveness in the industrial electronics field, not only through a more rational reorganization, but also by focusing on the core business and on new further investments in Eutron SpA's Research & Development Department.
As from the next few months, Eutron SpA's productive plan will regularly operate some new production lines and manufacture a range of innovatory products devoted to the industrial sector, both in the "wireless" technological ambit and in the electric motor drives. These measures will enable Eutron to adopt a perspective of further growth and development in the medium run.
"Our Group has almost exclusively grown thanks to its external entities for the last 25 years. Therefore Eutron Infosecurity's takeover has been wilfully planned in view of its undeniable industrial synergies with our Selesta Security Systems SpA, leading to really appreciable results" Adriano Prefumo, Selesta Groups' Chairman maintains.
Ruggero Gissi, Eutron Infosecurity's Head of Business, intervenes: "This transfer has been strongly wished for introducing our company into new markets where Selesta is already operating successfully and for consolidating our sales network. Thanks to the permeation of professional competences and commercial targets we foresee a sizeable growth of our turnover in the next few years and the development of new products meant for Selesta's current catchment area."
