HfNetChkPro publica el Hotfix 5.0.1 (inglés)

On Monday a Hotfix for HFNetChkPro was released that includes the following key items:

• Support For Windows Server 2003 SP1 Console
• Support For Windows XP SP2 Consoles

This is a key fix for any one that would like to run Pro product from a Windows XP SP2 computer.

SP2 added in some anti-worm features that slowed scans down a bit. The work around alleviates the issue with SP2. SP2 will still be a bit slower than running from a Server 2003 box which does not have Microsoft's anti-worm code in it so let your customers know for highest speed scans use Server 2003 to run the console from. Windows XP SP2 is fine to use but it will not be quite as fast.
